iPhone Duo Benchmark Leak Hints at Powerful Foldable Performance

Post by

Early benchmark results suggest Apple’s first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, could be among the most powerful foldables on the market. The results were reported by Tom’s Guide, which says the tested device was listed as iPhone19,4 and ran iOS 27.1.

What the leaked benchmark suggests

The report describes a Geekbench 7 multi-core score of around 11,067 for the iPhone Duo, powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip. Those early figures appear competitive with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 range in Tom’s Guide’s comparison, but benchmark results can vary between runs and devices.

Why the A20 Pro matters

The iPhone Duo is reported to use Apple’s A20 Pro processor with 12GB of RAM. Apple is also said to have focused on thermal management to help the chip sustain performance while powering a foldable design with two displays.

Wait for independent testing

These are leaked results, not a full independent review of the retail device. Real-world performance, battery life, heat and multitasking will need to be assessed in broader testing before firm conclusions can be drawn.

What this means for foldable-phone buyers

If confirmed, the results would make the iPhone Duo a strong performance contender. Buyers should still weigh the price, durability, software experience, cameras and battery life against competing foldables before choosing a device.
