Allure Homme Sport by Chanel is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Allure Homme Sport was launched in 2004. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Polge. Top notes are Orange, Sea Notes, Aldehydes and Blood Mandarin; middle notes are Pepper, Neroli and Cedar; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, White Musk, Amber, Vetiver and Elemi resin.

Five years after the launch of Allure Homme, Chanel house presented Allure Homme Sport, which came as a fresher and sharper fragrance. The crystal clear beginning introduces notes of water and aldehydes. It is followed by woodsy and spicy character of the fragrance, which thanks to luminous vetiver is not oriental heavy, but light and translucent. The base is composed of sensual white musk, tonka beans and amber. It was designed in 2004 by the famous \'nose\' of Chanel house, Jacques Polge.

Нормальные ежедневные духи. Самое то для работы, офиса. На свидание такие я бы не носил.

NickyRocksteady

A timeless fresh fragrance that still holds up brilliantly. Bright citrus at the start with a clean, slightly creamy character that develops into smooth woods and tonka. It smells polished, masculine and effortlessly classy without ever becoming heavy. Extremely versatile and one of those fragrances that just works in almost any situation. Performance is decent rather than huge, but the scent itself is excellent. One of my favourite easy reaches when I want to smell fresh and well put together.

alien_with_blue_eyes

One of the best all-year-round fragrances ever. At first, it's very fresh, with citrusy and marine notes, but after some time, smooth, creamy, and woody notes come through. Just an amazing quality scent.

Best Chanel next to Platinum Egoiste. A masterpiece! 10/10

Okay, so when i was a kid i used to really like Allure homme sport cologne, i loved that sharp citrus, a bit cleaner like that was actually very enjoybale. So my dad recently bought me a bottle of Allure homme sport (so not the cologne flanker but this one) because he remebered that i loved the cologne flanker and he had a big retail on this fragrance and tought it was the same scent profile. Let me tell you, IT'S NOT THE SAME AT ALL, i find this one actually kind of disgusting, it start with a very soft almost flat agrumes accord that is just not fresh and very boring, then it develops into an odd creamy sea notes and it's like so weird and feel really old. I am not very difficult on fragrance but this one genuinly give me headache and nausea, i don't know if it's my skin that do that (smells better on my dad but i still find this kinda disgusting, but yeah defo not for me. The drydown is not that bad tho, but i can't stand this fragrance the first hour and a half. also projection and longevity is not the best;

Mynamejeff

I blind bought a second hand bottle, like 60% left in it and I lowkey regret it. To me, its just too bright and smells too much like detergent so I guess it makes you smell clean.. but man, for me its too bright and citrusy and also this lasts like 2 hours for me... I have tried to wear this before/after the gym as a daily but no, it never appealed to me and I much more prefer YSL Myslf EDP for a citrusy scent.

I give this a 5/10.

Spencer1014

It's looking like my first 50ml bottle to finish. Though I'm cherishing the last few ml I have. I love this scent. It's great for the California (not coastal) heat. It's like an orange scented dryer sheet with pepper and greens/woods to bring a masculine edge to it but has the vanilla and tonka base to almost remind you of dreamsicle ice cream. This a phenomenal scent, my only complaint is that it doesn't last longer. But since its a summer EDT, I can't really hold that against it. 9.7/10

Ensive

1) Let it macerate for a month after the first spray.

2) Wash your neck with cream soap, let it dry and then spray the cologne there.

3) Do 2 sprays on each side of the neck instead of just 1.

For me it stays for at least 7-8 hours after that.

Sillage: 7/10
Overall: use it for the gym honestly

jdarr7

The best thing about this perfume is that it is clearly the highest quality version of this fragrance profile. The citrus, airiness/aldehydes and then tonka bean (in that order) make for a very good fragrance. Also a perfume that you don't really have to think about from spring-summer. The only downsides are its average performance and the price, but it may just be worth it for the smooth blend.

SupermanEcstacy

They ruined this. It is a masterpiece but tragically lasts only 2-3 hours. No this is not nose blindness, but extensive tests. This used to give me 10 hours tops. Sad.

wheretfisumutz

It was super back in the days, but not worth the money anymore. Way way more better freshies nowadays for 1/5 th of the price. Does not last for the price, does not project for the price. Will never rebuy.

Salooh

Idk if it's just me but it smells like a sweaty armpit

LAUNDRY POWDER, MUCH STRONGER THAN ALLURE EAU EXTREME

TLDR: Fresh and Smooth

Its good for daily wear. Smells fresh. Smells good, smooth. I will keep wearing it daily as I only need 2 sprays a day for a light scent.

Great for summer, spring, outside or even just around the house after you take a shower.

Perfect for after getting cleaned up after a workout or daily use. I would not wear this to a black-tie event or anything formal. Not for your wedding day. I will probably always have a bottle of this also. This one is growing on me more and more for how much I appreciate something as quality as Chanel for the price. Its reliable.

Scent Fact: My wife says this smells masculine

My thought on my scent fact: Just wait until she smells my SAUVAGE ELIXER

quanhhg

Classic all-rounder fragrance, sadly it only lasts 2-4 hours at max

Preloge

This one gets me a lot of compliments everytime I wear this compared to eau extreme. Eau extreme got me 0 compliments over these past year till now lmao

Cartnite

8.5/10, this is a baller fresh/citrus/summer scent but the only downside is it last roughly 3-4 hours, after that you have your nose on your skin directly to smell it. I wish this came in a EDP but not the eua extreme formula.

storm of fire

A very good scent, but it is terrible on the part of the performance.... For that money it lasts about 2 to 2 and a half hours and projects moderate for 1 and a half hour!!! After that it is a skin scent...!!! A very good fragrance that shines better for summer and spring, an allwear for day and night for every occasion and every situation but is it really worth it buing second time??? Even if it is a pleasant fragrance it's a no for me to buy it again...!!!!

jack_in_the_green

Just such a classic. The original Allure Homme has such a unique fruit, floral and spice profile but here's something about it that I can't get into. AHS takes the best of AH but makes it completely wearable, modern and both fresh/warm as it moves from top notes into drydown. A must have

Fragmotion

I’ve had this bottle in my collection for at least 8 years, batch 2709, and it’s still one of those fragrances I can wear anytime, in any season, no matter the weather, day or night. It gets compliments, of course, but more importantly, it simply makes me feel good every time I wear it.

Roman Pro Max

If people pleasing was an aesthetic, this one would be the champion. Cleanest and smoothest shower gel scent. Best option for ones who want to just "smell good" as a function and don't bother. A polar opposite of niche.

Mr_On_Time_Always

A heavenly scent. The OG is a 5/5 and so is this, the best of the Allure flankers . Easy to wear and appropriate for any occasion or season. Several comments among these ratings mistakenly refer to this as ‘common’ or a ‘2000’s department store’ fragrance- no this is the hi test stuff and the synthetic garbage you children are wearing is the common dogsh1t.
I don’t really get the orange creamsicle vibe but the balance of sweet, citrus, wood on a base of vanilla is masterfully blended.

C.P.71

Its good... lasts surprisingly long,,, can smell it on clothes easily next day,,, I was also surprised of just how amazing the dry down is.,,,, such an ez going scent that isnt trying to do anything its not supposed to... it doesnt try to hard to be noticed etc... I was going to gift it,,, but I think its staying with me!

BleekBleek

The opening is akin to many common male citrus freshies, but the dry down is magical. The woods, vetiver, and ambers really shine and transform this scent from your run-of-the-mill citrusy thing to a layered masterpiece that smells uncommon and luxurious.

It starts to get so creamy and smooth after the first half hour, but not lotiony like so many freshies with a tonka and vanilla base. I think the aldehydes keep it airy and fresh during its dry down.

It shines at around hour 2: The woods have actual presence and the vetiver adds this perfect touch of clean earthiness. The musk adds body and helps to ground the scent. The vanilla and coumarin are so creamy and almost almondy. The sillage also peaks at this time, and you will get noticed and complimented. As more time passes, the citrus eventually fades completely and you're left with an amazing amber woody vanilla with a touch of clean earthiness from the vetiver and musk.

Allure Homme Sport lasts 8+ hours on my skin with 7 sprays - three on each side of my neck/top shoulders, and one in the back. I like to triple spray most EDT freshies to help them diffuse off my skin for longer. It will radiate slightly greater than an arms length for the first hour, then it begins to slowly dial back. I think this performance is pretty great considering its composition - at least on my skin.

I absolutely love Chanel designer fragrances, and Allure Homme Sport is my #2 from this house right behind the OG Allure Homme. #3? Platinum Egoiste.

9.4/10 - get this one in your collection before the end of summer.

creamycowboy

This smells like a department store, or a magazine perfume ad from the early 2000s. It's not original in the slightest.

MulletDurden

As someone who tends to prefer powerhouse fragrance DNAs from yesteryear, it is not often that I find myself liking a modern fragrance let alone owning one and wearing it often. In this case Chanel’s Allure Homme Sport is one which breaks the mold.

It opens up with a creamy yet fresh citrus accord (orange) and dries down to a powdery, clean musky soap. The orange freshness is present from opening to dry down. This isn’t necessarily a complex fragrance however with Chanel’s immaculate blending this doesn’t really matter to me.

There is an ‘effortless’ quality to this which I find quite charming. It smells rather elegant and self-assured. A reviewer below stated that they find this to be “a little bit dated” (!?). This was released in the same year as I was born..being 22 now does that mean I’m old? Of course not.

With today’s current market of blues, hyper sweets, aventus-ey clones, borderline female ‘men’s releases’ wearing Chanel Allure Homme Sport you will not only smell superior but you will stand out like a splash of red paint on a white wall.

Side note - if compliments and validation from others is of significance to you then you will certainly be pleased with this. From experience women seem to like this one.

As for the performance, I initially thought this one didn’t last all that long and wasn’t too noticeable after hour 2. I was wrong. I’ve been wearing this for the last few days during the current heatwave here in the UK and after working and exercising (sports coach) in the sun for several hours I have received compliments at the end of my work day which was surprising. I would say this lasts a good 7-8 hours minimum, projecting well for the first 1-2 hours then leaving a more intimate (but strong) bubble with good silage for most of the life cycle.

Overall I think this is an excellent fragrance which can be worn pretty much all year round but is best suited to the warmer months of the year. Can also be worn both casually and professionally. If you are looking for something easy to wear that’ll work for pretty much any situation then this might just be the one for you.

Experiment626

Really nice generic mens cologne, kinda smells like Star Chaser and Sauvage had a really average looking kid. Like the kind that works in an office and drinks coffee with two cream and two sugar. Really safe blind buy and a good cologne to wear in or out, has nice longevity but its really nothing super special. I do recommend it though. Good bday/Christmas present for someone who wants to get into colognes.

rombass

Thanks for the feedback!

You’re right. Rereading what I wrote earlier, I realise I went a bit overboard. I still have a few Arabic knock-offs at home, left over from when I used to buy almost exclusively knock-offs. It has just occurred to me that a replica is sometimes the only way to find out what the original smells like, or at least get a rough idea, because samples aren’t available for all perfumes in our country.

I was really annoyed to realise that I’ve spent over 1,000 EUR on imitations over the last 12–15 years, and I’ve never been as satisfied with them as I have with the originals.

The first imitation I bought was a copy of the Chopard 'Heaven' perfume. I think it was called 'Ocean', but I can't remember the brand. I bought it because, even back then, the original fragrance was already discontinued.

So, to conclude, I’ll amend what I foolishly wrote in my previous review. When a perfume enthusiast truly loves a fragrance, they’ll save up for the original.

Joey3105

Agree with @rombass below. However it's a bit harsh to say that a true perfume lover will always opt for the original. The market, with the help of influencers, push everything as the "best" clone and some spent crazy amounts to find that elusive one. Stick with what you like.....easier said than done 😑

rombass

I think what makes this fragrance so amazing is that Chanel managed to create a relatively simple composition of common citrus, woody and sweet notes. Yet it is precisely the quality and subtlety that sets it apart, and this cannot be replicated by any imitation or fragrance inspired by it — and there are quite a few of those out there.

Perfume lovers often lament how Chanel can sell such an ordinary perfume at such high prices. My answer is that they can, and they don't have to worry that any imitation will surpass their own fragrance in quality. I don’t know if it's the quality of the fragrance ingredients or the perfumer's blending, but this simply smells high-quality.

I don't particularly care for this type of scent, but I can still appreciate its quality. I’ve bought several imitations (from Lattafa thru Afnan/Armaf to Versace), and not a single one was even one-tenth as good to justify their low price.

The latest one I bought was Missoni Wave, and it was no different. Even though the 50 ml bottle cost 'only' €14.99, it's not worth it. It doesn’t smell unpleasant, but it’s ordinary and boring. Every time I wear it, I think, 'Well, I'm not satisfied, but at least I saved money.'

What’s the point of that? No more clones or knock-offs for me — it's pointless, and a true perfume lover will always opt for the original. People who buy imitations and bash the original, claiming it is overpriced, are the same people who, if they could, would download perfumes from the internet in the same way as they do songs and films.

I know I'm being harsh, and I apologise if anyone was offended by my words., but I had to get it off my chest. Take a minute to think about it. How much have some of you already spent on various clones of an expensive fragrance, hoping to find the perfect one (cheap and good quality), and how much did you spend on these imitations? It might equal the price of one full bottle of the original — that's what happened when I was looking for the perfect Aventus clone. I spent the equivalent of 150 ml of the original juice on the clones, which I didn't enjoy at all..

TheLostAustralian

This falls along the lines of the fresh-citrus-aquatic fragrances but there's something different about it. It has a slightly sporty smell to it that is perfect for the gym and outdoor sports. I love wearing this to the beach. This is a solid fragrance.

roachedps4

this is like the masculine interpretation of wearing an orange creamsicle that has been transmogrified into a soft, powdery pillow. basically anyone who smells this on you is going to enjoy it.

chic chameleon

When I smell this, I put on a truly old compiled 60min cassette of Motörhead's slowest n earliest tunes (e.g. The Chase is Better Than the Catch and Limb from Limb and Sweet Revenge and such...), stick my butt to the leather saddle on my 60s bike (no gears, no E-bike-bullshit) and for the looks just a lightblue and over three decades prouldy-worn, almost-declined, relaxed-fit Levi's and a littlebit oversized longsleeved plain-white collared cotton shirt (you know what I mean, no polyester or whatever weakass garment and no stupid prints or branding anywhere,) and slip into some Italian timeless, highend-quality, calf-leather, chunky derby shoes (no socks, obviously) and kick that pedal towards roads that lead me to a massive lake that has been placed in the middle of a distant and spacious forest. It's a Monday or Tuesday, of course, and there is noone around to disturb that inner peace of mine. In my heavy cowhide handbag I carry a tattered, dog-eared 50s pocketbook edition of Crime and Punishment, a 100$ in cash (10x 10$ bills), a pack of Newport 100s, a butterfly knife to keep my fingernails clean and a 50ml flacon of Chanel's Allure Homme Sport Eau de Toilette to reapply a little spritz just for that very certain kind of feeling every now and then.

HolyDemon

A little bit dated but still a great fragrance for a designer brand.

Moyn

one of the best refreshing citrus energising openings. The aldehydes are incredible, working with that supremely natural citrus gives an incredible sparkling refreshing opening. The down has some masculine woods, and the vanilla gives it a smooth base. Very smooth and natural smelling all the way through in the base. Works fantastic in summer spring, autumn, maybe even winter if I'm in the mood. Performance is good.

stopwhining65

Another gem of a fragrance that's underrated on fragrantica. A smoother better version of Versace pour homme. Being a grown ass man, I prefer moderate fragrances. I prefer re-spraying over nuking people, so this one is perfect. 9/10

Hurun

This projects best out of the Sport line.
I'm getting 6-7 hrs on skin, maybe.
I have no issues with reapplying
because of that addictive marine note.

The best way I can describe it is
an aquatic tonka tied together by
Chanel's signature musk

#Fragrance Journey 23

Best sport fragrance of all time.
Such a timeless scent, I must re-buy soon.

It’s a Chanel it will be pricey, but it’s worth it.
10/10

lindenberg

This is one of the most amazing men's fragrances ever made. No matter who I smell it on, it always triggers a positive reaction within me, which is so rare. It's a really enticing scent, very 'successful young professional' vibe and I do believe it makes every man who uses it more attractive.

ChachiX

I bought a decant of Allure Homme Sport from a popular, well known decant company. I have to say, I'm not that impressed. It smells just like Missoni Wave, which I also have. I'd even say that it doesn't even project as well as Wave. Allure Homme Sport is still a very nice fragrance, but so is Wave. I'd say if you are on the fence about purchasing Allure Homme sport, maybe try Missoni Wave first. I feel like this is a classic case of paying for the name Chanel.

Anicosia2395

This is a perfect 10/10. It’s fresh, aquatic, touch of vanilla in the dry down. Can be dressed up or dressed down. People compare Versace Pour Homme to this, but I think this is leagues better than VPH. Worth the higher price tag too

frkasper

AHS was the reason I have entered into this rabbit hole. It always works for me — irrespective of the season — while also matching my persona. 10/10

Indigo007

A lot of people rank this the number one men’s Chanel… I actually disagree, Bleu edp or Parfum is better :)

But this is wicked good still! It’s safe for blind buying, it’s versatile… honestly one of the top tier designers.

Justruff

Uma versão bem menos agressiva do polo blue, não é exatamente igual mas é o perfume que me vem à mente, o que é péssimo. Não senti nada da baunilha, do musk e nem da tonka. Além disso a nota marinha ficou com cheiro de clara de ovo

A4-F8

Chanel Allure Homme Sport opens fresh and classy, but on my skin the dry-down becomes too powdery and creamy. The vanilla/tonka base takes over and gives it a soft powder vibe that I personally don’t enjoy. I wish Chanel toned down the creamy vanilla-powder accord and kept more of the fresh sporty citrus character throughout the fragrance. Still, the quality and blending are excellent, and overall it’s still a solid fragrance.

nosetradamus_X

An average sweet citrus freshie, nothing unique it´s ok i would wear it.

Pigboi

Chanel Allure Homme Sport opens with a fresh, clean citrus profile led by orange and mandarin, supported by a slightly aquatic touch and a noticeable sweetness that gives it a smooth, approachable character. Early on, it carries a faint “perfumey” edge from the florals and aldehydes, lending it a slightly refined, almost feminine-leaning quality, while the signature clean Chanel musk creates an airy feel with a subtly cloudy base.

As it develops, the fragrance settles into a balanced citrus-vanilla blend where the sweetness becomes more integrated and the overall profile feels cleaner and more cohesive. The edges remain crisp and cool, while a soft powdery heart emerges, giving the scent a smooth, diffused texture. The earlier perfumey aspect softens, shifting into a more neutral, clean, and polished character.

Into the drydown, the citrus fades and the scent becomes a clean musky vanilla with a slight orange tint. It maintains its crisp, cool feel thanks to the aldehydes and musk, resulting in a light, airy, and refined skin scent that gradually fades without major changes.

Overall, this is a well-blended, versatile, and easy-to-wear fragrance with a smooth balance of citrus freshness and soft sweetness. It leans more clean and polished than sporty, with a slightly powdery, musky drydown that is pleasant but fairly linear. While the longevity and linearity hold it back slightly, it stands out as a relatively unique and refined option in the fresh category, though it would score even higher if it offered better value for the price.

Wilfred86

Bright orange and pepper opening with a super smooth drydown into creamy vanilla-orange. This was the first fragrance I bought for myself around 2005 or 2006. It was expensive for me then, 50€ for 50mL.

Versace pour Homme is only comparable in the opening, it is nothing like it.

It can be a bit screechy in the opening (a bit of a 20-something shower-after-the-gym vibe) but the drydown is heaven. Still one of the best I own.

003a

you would think a citrus + vanilla + marine scent would not work but somehow it works. smells great. the dry down is the best part in my opinion. works best in any weather but 30+ degrees

Taurydro

This stuff smells so good. I got a chance to try it at the airport. Wore it on my flight home. Lasted 7+ easily. Super fresh.

BrooklynFragranceLover

My bottle was beastly. Has this one been reformulated?

Great juice from my experience, great smell.

Chanel is a Top Tier house, best of the best, similar to Dior Roja or Amouage.

Rimicual

If this lasted, it would easily be the best Chanel Allure. the Aldehydic Citrus Musk combo was a zone yet to be filled in by any major brands, and I pray they just leave it here and don't discontinue it because you cant do it better than this. Best Gym type fragrance Of all time

Jaris

Such a beautiful scent, but literally lasts 2-3 hours on skin, maybe 4 on clothes. December 2024 batch 150ml bottle. So annoying, if you have one that lasts like 6 hours hold on to it and savor it

isaacjara

The perfect summer fragrance.

Fresh, but complex.
Citrusy, but not zesty.
Oceanic, but not too salty.
Clean, but not sterile.
Perfect for summer, but great for every occasion.

The citrus here is not sharp like lemon, but smooth and equally as refreshing. The aldehydes give it a slightly metallic, cold feeling that is never sterile but instead feels like a breeze of fresh air. The vanilla here makes it a very round and creamy fragrance, which is usually hard to do with fresh scents. And the musk and neroli just tie it all together giving it a very clean and well put feeling.

This doesn’t smell as natural or airy as some other summer/beach fragrances, but it smells the most put together. Like luxury in a bottle.

This feels like the equivalent of a vintage white-dial Rolex. You could easily wear it to a millionaire’s wedding at a beach in a five star hotel in the Maldives. At the same time, it wouldn’t feel out of place just going for a beachside walk with friends.

I don’t think I’ll ever let it leave my collection.

Username12456

Despite being released over 20 years ago this fragrance will never be outdated. It got that timeless manly scent dna thats been loved by women forever. I tend to gravitate back towards these classic scents nowadays and away from many of my nisch just because the classic ones will never not work and in reality are the ones you end up using 95% of the time anyways.

eau de solace

i really like AHS, i own both the body spray and the edt version, but i'll only throw it on during the spring and summer months. i have a hot take on this, i put a spritz of the body spray on myself yesterday and it reminded me a lot of Aventus, which i own a sample of directly from creed, from the musk to the citruses, it is a very similar DNA. but whereas AHS feels sweeter and more citrus-forward more youthful, Aventus smells a lot more smokier and leathery definitely more mature, but ahs definitely feels more modern and up to date, i'm guessing it has been reformulated since being released in 2004. i mean creed released aventus in 2010, so i would say aventus was highly inspired by ahs, which is weird because aventus gets all the glory, but i know the truth now. if you're even remotely thinking about aventus, i would highly recommend you try out ahs as i do think it's the superior formulation of the 2 as of 2026 at least.

Munyez33

This fragrance is a perfect example how you should try every perfume you want to order first on your skin because to me this smells super powdery and I hate powdery fragrances. So while a lot of comment say that it smells like oranges and sea breeze all I feel is powdery Iris

s_wms

This is a fresh creamy citrus, like an orange creamsicle with a third the sweetness. It's a soft scent, very versatile, not too exciting, and quite casual. If you have smelled the Eau Extreme, this is similar to that but less dense. I like it, don't love it. For the price I recommend cheaper options. Good quality and lasts about 7 hours. Age - High School and up. Can't go wrong with this one but it is expensive and I recommend sampling first. Very safe fragrance and mass appealing. 7/10

QuickScope

•Okay citrus and aldehyde opening (think synthetic bathroom cleaner).

•Lovely vanilla, musk, and tonka bean dry down.

•Lasts ~4 hours.

Tamlin

One of the best fresh fragrances ever, and probably the best in the whole Allure Homme line.
It's fresh and clean without being overly citrusy, like many other freshies tend to be. It's a perfect balance between aquatic and citrus.
At the same time it's soft and cozy without being too warm or cloying.
And at the same time it's also distinctly masculine without being too harsh or heavy.
The ingredients are perfectly balanced so that nothing specific really sticks out too much.

The only drawback is that it doesn't last a very long time. It's fairly strong and very fresh and aquatic in the first couple of hours or so, then it turns into a much softer and distinctly less aquatic skin scent. Personally I think I like this drydown phase the most in terms of the scent, because it's very soft and cozy while remaining clean and masculine. After another few hours, there's not much left. It lasts longer of clothes, of course, but for some reason I think it smells much better on skin than on clothes.

If only the longevity was better, this might be a perfect fresh masculine fragrance. But even with the relatively short life span, I still feel that's it's worth it simply because the scent itself is so good, so extremely well balanced, so fresh AND cozy AND manly, and is utterly inoffensive. I haven't smelled anything else in the Fresh and Manly category that is this smooth and soft. It's just the best despite it's fleeting nature.

In short, this is Clean and Healthy Masculinity in a bottle.

Lando Bando

Very good fragrance. I will always say this, but even while this is a pretty unique smell, it's still a fresh summer cologne so nobody will be blown away. My nose must suck, because I get ZERO vanilla/sweet here. The citrus dominates the opening with the musky aromatics creeping behind very prominently. The citrus fades and the smell becomes a more intimate, musky, aromatic herbal kinda thing. I own oil dupes of this and they are no different and half the price, just buy one of those. Overall great fragrance for what it is, but buy an oil.

Aronas14

Number 1 for the 2026 summer

awm0912

If you like smelling citrusy this is the cologne for you.

fisken23

Why does almost every fragrance smell better when I put it on and after a short while take a shower? Is it the fragrance drydown (wetdown 😁) I experiences?
Can anyone relate?

KToonzy

Solid option and blind buy safe.
Got complimented by a nurse today !
Second time I get a compliment since a started my perfume journey 4 months ago.
First compliment was by a taxi-driver for CH Bad Boy Sparkling Ice (the only BadBoy worth buying honestly).

cheeseoverlord

this is a fantastic everyday pick for a fragrance, it’s a fresh, clean, almost flowery citrus that dries down to this creamy, musky tonka base. if you’re worried about the performance… don’t! the scent alone is so good that 4-5 hours of quality projection is sufficient.

bluekabu

If you prefer light freshie like me, this is the best of the AHS line. I love it.

It's a simple but sophisticated enough scent for me.

Start off really bright and fresh, into a peppery neroli like the middle notes. Then drydown into a creamy scent.

Excellently blended.

quinto_sentido

Tried an original formula batch. As frequently compared, there’s nothing even close to Versace Pour Homme’s “laundry kit”

This fragrance is evolving like crazy, changing the whole vibe with each stage. A lively opening of very pleasant, mild mix of grapefruit, pomelo, and some mint freshness, with just a small hint of synthetic. Then it got herbal notes on the cedar base, and the freshness became soapy and spicy. Drying down through an hour presented warm amber, musk, tonka, and transitioned pepper into ginger, yet remaining fresh

Reminds me of a Mediterranean beach, that mixes a pleasant salty sea breeze with the aroma of citrus and pine trees, that you visit after a shower for 15 mins right before fancy dinner

Longevity is two to three hours with good projection, then fades away and stays closer to the skin for another three to four hours. Very masculine, yet wears quite well starting from the mid-twenties. Younger folks might want to get something more sweet like Missoni Wave

Overall, GOAT summer/fresh/sport fragrance. I can’t stress enough how good it is, as there are so few perfect fragrances with such sharp pepper that doesn’t become cloying during high heat

ashed

I like this one, but I don't love it, just because of the opening. It smells like a good chunk of the original has been replaced with a shower gel smell, which I don't mind, but find a little dull. It starts to shine in the dry down, where you get a smoky muskiness that I really like. It's not the most unique smell, but it's done really well here. It definitely feels far more casual than the original EDT, and this thing would be great running errands on a hot day or going to the gym. I dig it. Overall, really solid, and will probably keep my eye out for a discount to pick this up.

My bottle is a few years old and performs quite well, I remember people were saying it was useless and reformulated back then so I don't listen to all of that anymore, I am quite happy with a scent if it works well for 4 or 5 hrs, people seem to obsess about wanting fragrances to last 12 hrs until you are sick of wearing them, I don't understand in what situation do you need to stink to high heaven for 12rs or more, the best scents are never like that. Homme Sport is a fantastic scent, classy, fresh, clean, puts out a quietly confident aroma without offending anyone, I love fragrances like this, a lot of the chanel fragrances are like this and ooze quality. It seems like the marketing in this game has gotten out of hand with everyone looking for the next perfect masterpiece and never satisfied, there are plenty of great scents that already exist, if you realistically lower expectations you can open up a whole new world of enjoyment, at 55 I couldnt give a shit about compliments, I basically wear anything that I love the smell of and homme sport, prada lhomme and dior homme intense are a few that make me very content and happy.

SupermanEcstacy

Love it to bits, but has been castrated. The new bottles won't last more than 2 hours on skin. On clothes, you'll get max 5 hours.

FreshJJ

I do believe this was amazing at one point but wow, tried it at the mall yesterday and they absolutely destroyed this thing, im usually a clone hater but Missoni wave is WAY smoother then this, that was not the case 4/5 years ago, and dont even get me started about the price it still is, even my 2025 eau extreme smells different then i remember but its definitely better then this, the OG allure is still amazing tho, will be picking that up instead

benlippi

Man I love this, one of the nicest scent profiles ever imo, but tragically my girl says this smells like eggs. I looked up egg in the reviews here and found no one else has this problem… so that’s troubling for me. Am I really the only one with this problem?

Edit: I checked vph’s page since they’re very similar, and found lots of complaints about an egg smell. Must be something about the scent profile. Strange that I’m the only one mentioning it here after all the years of this page being up…

Chanel Please Improve Back Your Quality on This - I am a continous user of this and the most recent purchase I made in 2025 is clearly weak in performance and does not stays - Please protect the love users have for this and do not water it down. Already, its a expensive one so no need to water it down or compromise on its quality.

Winsockx

This Fragrance is so good to me. Something about that creamy addictive Tonka/Vanilla dry down just does it for me. Fresh and classy but with depth.

I have worn this scent on and off since 2006. I bought my most recent bottle in 2026 and was disappointed. All citrus with minimal creamy dry down. Also, the performance was noticeably worse than any other bottle I have owned. It improved slightly after a few sprays and about a month, but still subpar.

I've since scored a couple full bottles that are a few years old and they are very good.

What will I do when I can't source older bottles?

Such is the fragrance game.

C'est la vie

GreenGreedGuy

Love this scent. It really retains the Citrus orange note and performs excellent. Great example of a designer fragrance that is worth the cost and hype.

Safe for many occasions including the office, and has a very unique DNA. Good addition to anyone's collection!

ins0mniaak

LOVEEE this perfume, great for everyday, refreshing and summer-ish, quality is great too

Neo_Tokyo

Wore it to the gym today. This just gets better as time progresses and your body gets warm. The ladies love them some Chanel.

Mustafa Mukkerman

Smells very pleasant and clean, reminds me of those quality hair products your barber uses in his salon. I found the longevity quite decent, 6-7 hours, which is very good for an EDT. A safe blind buy.

Scent_Scholar

In my opinion one of the best men’s fragrance ever made. Still holds up amazingly and honestly smells better than most stuff being produced today. Every man should have this in their collection when the warmer weather rolls around. Garners much positive attention from the opposite sex, you can’t lose with Allure Homme Sport. I’ve always been a sucker for the bottle as well, just has a nice look about it.

AmarJak

My wife's favourite on me. Great citrus opening with an amazing drydown. I once layered it with Turathi Blue and was smelling myself all day. Not sure why most seem to think it doesn't last long, you should get a good 7 hours with it on a few sprays. Price could maybe be a little lower.

9/10

Alexislikesfragrances

Omg the Black atomizer Pre 2010's era batch of this is like genuinely the GOAT of all aquatics.
This was the first fragrance i got from my father.
This genuinely smells like how it feels to be on a cruise ship sipping on a citrussy fizzy drink.
The slight kick of pepper and a barely distinguishable vanilla makes this ELITE.
Too bad my 50ML of this has unfortunately ran out.

Bilbo Fraggins

Modern day fragrance idiots will not understand this line, and that's OK. You take the amberwoods, I'll take the musk. One of the best musk fragrances ever created. If you know, you know.

reptile12

After having tried around ~35 fragrances, this is my favorite of all in terms of the smell itself. I also think someone back in 2004-2009 around me wore it but I don't know who, but that gives me memories of it.
It opens with an amazing citrus blast that has depth and mystique to it. It's not a gourmand citrus but an abstract one. It also has a kind of high tech 2004 aura around it.

In the first part of the dry down (like first 10-20 minutes) the citrus sort of disappears, but then somehow the citrus comes back and stays there for the rest of the dry down. It smells like the opening but without the sharpness. It's hard to describe why you like a smell over another. No description can really capture why, it's just that the smell is amazing and hence my favorite.

I also feel like it works very well in extreme weather, both when it's very warm and when it's very cold. The citrus note somehow really shines when it's really cold out and really warm out. It's not as prominent at room temperature, not sure what that is about.

Lowwwwww11

10/10 smell 1/10 longevity and projection

omerk18

çok overrated açılışı limonlu kolanya gibi ama çok kişi buna katılmayacak bence

Aeternos

Good scent. Smells like a fresh, warm summer day at a clean beach, with some sweet citrus and vanilla notes mixed in. That said, there are probably better scents to wear to the gym, or on a very hot day. Seems like the inclusion of "Sport" in the name was suggesting these uses, but I'd lean toward something like Davidoff Cool Water instead. Other reviews mentioned Chanel Platinum Egoiste which, while Allure Sport has similarities, I personally consider Platinum Egoiste a much more refined, substantially better scent.

Effervescence from the aldehydes is noticeable, and also seems to give that warm, clean laundry scent. This adds versatility, making the scent suitable for office wear or a lunch date. Probably not the best for cold weather, but again, the scent is versatile and would never really be jarring -- just might be less noticeable in some settings. Overall, good scent, worth trying, but not worth the retail price unless you personally find it's a stand out for you.

Jesse's Fragrances

It smells alright, it's very citrusy and powdery, but it's not strong. I like Platinum Egoiste better, it's almost like a lighter version of it. When you spray in the first time, it smells very soft and feminine, a businesswoman could wear it, then as it wears down, it turns into this masculine scent that smells almost like paper and musk.

snifferofthemediterranean

Love it its a must have....fresh powdery...would buy again

Mr_Jaybo

My go-to summer scent from Chanel. Sweet orange + vanilla, tonka, and those aldehydes = pure perfection. Maybe bit too sweet for the hottest of days (wear Versace Pour Homme instead), but I really love this stuff!

Ensive

@tobi-pez
Do you mean the official Versace website knows less about their colognes than you do? Because Agarwood / Oud Wood was listed in the base notes of VPH since the dawn of time, and I believe that's one of the notes that people can smell in the drydown of VPH.

P.S. Obviously an offline store means a physical one, as opposed to an online one. Grow up 😉

Old Soul Sam

One of the first fragrances ive ever worn, this one has a special place in my heart and brings me back memories, fresh citrusy and good for any day or situations

tobi-pez

This dude @Ensive down below wrote "go to an offline perfume store", what in the goddamn what.
You mean a PHYSICAL store?? Also Versace Pour Homme does not have agarwood (oud) - he trippin real bad.

Monsieur M.

Chanel has ruined my favourite scent of all time.

I bought my first 50 ml bottle back in 2019, and it quickly became my favourite fragrance alongside Blanche. I loved the orange opening and the hint of vanilla that followed. It was fresh yet sophisticated; suitable for any occasion, any season, day or night. I received so many compliments.

Earlier this autumn, I noticed Chanel had once again raised the prices of both this and Blanche, but because I adored them so much, I went ahead and bought 150 ml bottles of each. While Blanche seems watered down, it still smells roughly as it used to. But Sport? They have completely changed the fragrance’s DNA. There is absolutely no orange, mandarin, or vanilla. Instead, there’s a very strong medicinal note, similar to Platinum Égoïste, which I absolutely detest. At €158 for 150 ml, it’s outrageous.

To add insult to injury, Chanel denies any reformulation of this fragrance. In fact, they flat out told me they have never--and never will--reformulate their scents. How is that not fraud?

For the record, my previous bottles were from a 2022 batch.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Ensive

Do not believe those who say it smells like Versace Pour Homme (VPH). It does not.
So before you pick VPH as a "cheaper alternative" - just go to an offline perfume store and smell them side-by-side before jumping into conclusions. I don't suggest to make any conclusions based on a 1 ml sampler of VPH because it may have Tonka beans which a full-size version of VPH does not, and in that case the sampler of VPH will smell a bit similar to CAHS.

VPH - starts with synthetic Lemon, then turns into a floral scent which in the end mixes with Cedarwood and Oud Wood. Basically a floral scent that finishes a bit heavy with the wooden notes. There's no sweetness at all.
CAHS - starts with sweet Mandarin, then becomes powdery and finishes with a combination of sweet (Tonka beans) and woody/earthy notes. Nothing floral about it, instead - a sweet citrusy scent with a bit of woody/earthy undertone. Subjectively smells more expensive and not at all linear.

smtsigned

smells like expensive lemon cologne

Lemonjuicewithnomilk

Megamare is my favourite aquatic, and I'd say this opening beats it. So beautiful, and light really like the oceans breeze. Fresh, and classic. I wear this while working out, and the "sport" isn't a lie because this works really well when you're hot and sweaty from running. It doesn't last long which is perfect, and dries down to a beautiful vanilla bed skin scent that keeps you going until you're inside the shower.
Classic enough to be boring, but people in the grocery store like it.

Lamyalexandria

The first parfum I bought, smell clean and fresh, easy to wear, very polyvalent. I love it. Good performances

Jdoggi

Versace pour homme alternative smells 1:1.But this has something in it that just gives me a headache after 1 hour of wearing. Versace gives me a much cleaner and fresher feel without the headache even worn all day.

Piggy41510

This fragrance will never be outdated because it smells too good!! Classic fragrance from Chanel that is one of the best freshies on the market.

AlexPurple

The iconic fragrance of the early noughties. Everyone was wearing it back then, both men with potbellies in expensive cars and guys from the neighborhood in sweatpants. A lot of fakes were made for him, one of them was in my dorm room — a neighbor used it. But today, this fragrance is certainly outdated and does not cause the same delight as before. For conservative, reactionary people who don't like to change anything in life, except that. But it's better to forget about it and use, for example, Dior Savage. Young women like him better.

bachir_z

I had this perfume bought it when I went to Tangier Morocco, people who smell me they loved it. it was beautifull.

CowboyCologne

Citrusy, Aldehydic and slightly sweet, albeit from a refined perspective, it will remind you of someone and for me it's an uncle. Here's a picture: Orange creamsicle on the rooftop of a skyscraper while watching a sunset, if that can ever become a perfume. Allegedly free of dyes.
Edit: Typo.

Kraemer

The opening of Allure Homme Sport sits among my favorite aquatic and marine scents of all time. The balance is perfect, and I can almost smell the breeze wafting through individual grains of dry oceanic sand.

If you love Allure Homme, go for Allure Homme Sport over Eau Extreme. It smells like your favorite scent, but it’s on vacation.

In my opinion, it’s the best of the Allure flankers.

There will never be another Jacques Polge.

Fermoso

A very pleasant and timeless classic from Chanel. The scent profile is fresh, elegant, and versatile and perfect for almost any occasion.

Performance: This is where it falls short for me. On my skin, it doesn’t go beyond 4–5 hours, and the projection is moderate at best. For the price point and the Chanel name, I expected a bit more staying power.

Alternative: If you love this style but want something that lasts longer, check out Lattafa Liam Blue. It’s a great inspiration with better performance and a more affordable price tag. Personally, because of the longevity issue, I’d lean toward the oriental alternative for daily wear.

Verdict: Love the scent, but for the lack of performance, I can’t justify it as my go-to. Great for collectors or those who don’t mind reapplying.

Cay Sid Orphia

A classic fresh fragrance with the high quality expected of a Chanel fragrance. Totally natural smelling. The blending of the oranges, vanilla and aldehydes is perfect and gives it a fantastic, addictive scent. It may be labeled as "Sport" and it is perfect for the gym. However, it is highly versatile and crowd pleasing, so you could wear it to the office, on a date, or hanging out and it would fit any of those situations. It's absolutely appropriate for year round too, though many say just Spring and Summer here. Timeless and incredible freshie.

blazerflame127

Absolutely beautiful fresh fragrance. Versatile, easy-to-wear and refreshing. Do not be fooled by the word "Sport" in its name, you can totally rock this on a date or a night-out since it smells really high-quality. A shame that it lasts for only around 3-4 hours on my skin, but it does its job well while it lasts.
Rating: 8.5/10, if it last for 2-3 hours longer, I would consider this the perfect freshie. Nevertheless, this is one of the OGs and it's a perfect safe blind-buy.

Piggy41510

80° in Cali and I'm so happy I live in the golden state because I can wear this fragrance all year long!! I'm going to grab the 5.oz bottle because this stuff is incredible and smells amazing 🤩 10/10 for me.

#96 review

Good performance. Classic office fragrance. Fresh and clean. One of the best SPORT fragrances i have tried.

certifiedcivet23

Seeing the recent reviews about performance, I just got mine, and it lasts 8 hours on my skin. I'm going to check my bottle to see which batch I have.

genvy

Allure Sport used to be long lasting — even as recently as 2022 — but in the last year or so they heavily watered it down. Now, not only does it not last, it doesn’t smell the same anymore either. Fuck Chanel for this. My signature scent since 2006.

It has gone through many reformulations though the years but one could at least say it still lasted and projected decently, still had an amazing smell. Until recently. And that explains the most recent reviews which all mention how it only lasts 1-2 hours.

igetnowomen69

this one smells so good i lost my virginity with this one honestly don’t think i could of pulled it off without it i smell really good i wear it everyday i have so many girlfriends it’s crazy jk but this shit is fire i’d recommend it for a signature scent i have been complimented multiple times in a day wearing this doing everyday things its crisp citrusy and alluring to those who smell it you can’t go wrong with this one but if this one is to expensive buy versace pour homme they smell the same but the versace is more sharp and citrus forward the chanel is smooth and creamy overall i’d rate chanel ahs 9/10 due to it’s versatility and quality

Maxmiller614

Beautiful stuff. Lots of orange balanced by a very approachable non cloying vanilla. Smells fantastic. Ok projection for being an EDT.

Eau Extreme is my preferred but this is really nice stuff

Bilbo Fraggins

Classic fresh aldehydes with a creamy sandalwood drydown. One of the better Chanels still worth the price point. If you are a fresh fragrance fan, you gotta own it.

spirituscorpus

I'd been looking for something different to my Aqua di Gio. Something a little citrusy, summery...

Finally bit the bullet and got Allure Homme Sport having tried it a couple of times in department stores.

So far.........very very disappointing.

The citrusy, grapefruit essence is ok on the first hit but it disappears on me after about only two hours. I think I can detect the dry down but it smells (on me) like stale deoderant.

I have already washed one shirt I was wearing when I sprayed this on thinking I must have put an unfresh shirt on in the morning but I am getting the same dry down effect now. Yuk!

Very disappointed!

DrArvinAr

It's amazing but it fades so fast sadly

istvan.buda.779

Horrible longevity …..can’t smell it after 5 hours..and my bottle is from 2016 .. wish it lasted longer because it does smell really good

lvjuve

For me the original allure is so much better.

Christopher Lloydd

Looking for something to wear to the gym? Go for a cologne that just makes you smell clean, like you’ve just stepped out of the shower.

Piggy41510

This is absolutely a beautiful fragrance very good for year round wear IMO.

Sandyknows

Can not be improved.

ISmellGood93

Chanel certainly has it's own touch to their frags, as you can sense this here.

Got a sample in of this with a purchase, and if only this had explosive performance at the same price, i'd pick up a bottle, Eau Extreme was a little too screechy for me, but this? This one is perfection, but it just doesn't last like I like my frags to last. It has a very orange-y, watery, peppery, that the longer it sits, you get some vanilla kind of going on too.

SO GOOD smelling, but the performance makes this overpriced and just not enough oomph for me.

slimz

Overpriced af. I use this as my everyday / office scent. Nothing mind blowing, smells more powdery than resh at the beginning, then its generic man's scent. 3/5

tcd54

By a country mile the most overrated fragrance i’ve ever tried. Had a bottle of missoni wave a while ago and thought that this can’t be what AHS smells like surely? Got a sample this morning and yeah, smells incredibly cheap and boring to me. Even if I was given a bottle for free I’m not sure if i’d wear it or not. Theres a million and one better designers than this. An overpriced under-performer. Hard pass, 4/10.

50shadesofscent

Citrus, fresh, bright vanilla fragrance. Smells more versatile and better than eau extreme. Eau extreme feels as it's almost a winter fragrance with that sweetness and spice. This one is all around fragrance but shines in spring and summer

𝓜𝓳_𝓬𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓽𝓸𝓷

Vintage, Soapy, citrusy & fresh spice bomb. Generic and weak.

JayBird101

This would be my first designer frag. Decided to pick up a cologne at the mall, and this one was recommended to me by the salesperson. I've had it for around a month already and I got to say, it's pretty fucking good. It opens up fresh, citrusy, then dry's down to a creamy slightly powdery woody vanilla. It's very mass appealing and versatile (I personally wouldn't use it in the winter)
Performance isn't too bad for EDT. I get around 6 solid hours, with moderate projection and sillage for the first 2-3 hours. My partner absolutely LOVES this cologne. Every time I wear it, she digs her face into my chest. Super solid safe blind buy.

Yourperfumebuddy

This is super fresh, clean, and effortless. It’s one of those scents that always gets a “you smell good” without being loud or in your face.
I’ve worn it during the day, out running errands, even on a few casual dates, and it just works. There’s a citrusy pop at first, then it smooths out into something soft and slightly warm on the skin. It makes you feel relaxed and clean really.

Honestly? One of the easiest to reach for and it never misses. 8.9 /10

Ashfaq Zaman

I’m very happy with this one. I love it. To me, it’s better than Eau Extreme. It’s my go-to.

SuperSense

This one has a certain twang that the Eau Extreme Sport doesn’t have, although that’s not to take away from the beautiful perfection that are both of them. I feel that combining them, layering them, is absolutely fabulous, outstanding and an optimal experience. Put hesitation on the shelf. Get them both!!!

Lonestarr

Smells a little bit like cat piss. But fresh! lol.

gonzalo1112

The GOAT. i don’t know why ppl are saying it’s a skin scent, for me it’s a projection and silage beast even with 3 sprays ppl are asking me what im wearing and giving me remarks on my cologne. Such a nice fresh scent, less clogging than the extreme, classy and sporty at the same time.

alexandrewb

Launched in 2004, Allure Homme Sport is a refining creativity from Jacques Polge that follows Chanel's tradition of producing elegant, modern and high-quality fragrances. Allure Homme Sport is a fragrance that translates with mastery and modern home spirit: attractive, confident and elegant without effort. Atemporal, it survives tendencies, maintaining itself semper current. A green light is the first of Chanel that is worth every day.

gamecube

I was planning on copping Missoni Wave, a popular clone of this, but after trying on the original I'm not quite sure. They are very similar fragrances, but AHS is heavier on the vanilla and orange. It reminds me of how an Orange Julius tastes if you've ever had one of those before. Intimate to moderate projection and 6ish hours on my skin. Performance is nothing to write home about but it's good for a scorching hot day when you dont want to choke everyone out. Really good option for the summer.

DaveTheBasha

So weak it's a waste of money. Skin scent the entire wearing. Got a compliment when someone gave me a hug. That's the only time anyone will smell it.

Barbz88

Nice clean fragrance for the summer. Does not get as many complements as I wish. Scent lasts 3-6 hours and is close to skin. Does not have long range of distance.

venussiandehermes

Chanel Allure Homme Sport is an olfactory expression of French elegance and sophisticated masculinity. Chanel's deep-rooted heritage and high quality understanding are clearly evident in this perfume. It offers a refined composition, meticulously thought out in every detail. Neither too assertive nor too dull; it is the perfume of a man who is confident but does not need to show it.

Allure Homme Sport has a fresh, dynamic and clean character. The opening is felt as a citrus freshness, followed by a sea breeze and soft woody notes, adding depth and elegance to the perfume. It combines cleanliness with luxury. In this sense, it reflects Chanel's general stance very well: an unpretentious splendor, a simple but impressive style.

The Eau Extreme version may be more long-lasting in terms of performance; it leaves a stronger mark on the skin, it is more projected. However, when it comes to scent quality, the original Allure Homme Sport is on another level. Despite the strong structure of Eau Extreme, sometimes the angularity brought by the intensity is felt, while the flow of the original version is much more elegant and harmonious. Its blend is more balanced; its fit on the skin, its transitions, its finesse show that it is a true Chanel classic.

Allure Homme Sport is an ideal choice for those who always look for ways to be stylish, clean and impressive. It is more quality and finesse than one would expect from a sports perfume. Chanel's attention to quality and details is reflected in this perfume on both an olfactory and emotional level. In short, Allure Homme Sport is not just a scent, it is a matter of attitude.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport, despite having an easy-to-wear and quite simple scent profile, has a strong versatility beneath this simplicity. It is fresh and risk-free enough to be preferred comfortably for daily use; at the same time, it never remains ordinary at a stylish dinner, a special meeting or a formal environment.

What makes it different is that it can establish exactly this balance: sophisticated without being complicated, not ordinary without being simple. While it makes an energetic start with light citrus notes and a sense of sea breeze, it leaves an elegant and masculine mark with woody and musk-based notes that settle on your skin over time.

This versatility also coincides with Chanel's general character. The brand's design language, which combines simplicity with luxury, allows Allure Homme Sport to find a place for itself in every environment. Its easy wearability makes it accessible, but never ordinary. Because Chanel's refined touch, mastery and sense of quality are behind it.

amirdervishi

Smells fresh, smooth, and energizing. Feels effortless and clean — like confidence without trying too hard.

@Chess53 "Contrary to belief, this smells nothing and I mean nothing like Versace Pour Homme"

I strongly disagree with your take. I own vintage batches (pre-IFRA reformulations) of both Versace Pour Homme and Allure Homme Sport, and while there are certain differences between the two, they both 100% share the same core DNA. There's a very obvious reason why they have been compared to each other since their release. No, they don't smell exactly 1:1 the same, but to say they smell "nothing like" each other is a really bad take.

The orange/mandarin used in this gives it a more "rounder/warmer" smelling citrus smell as opposed to the more brash (VPH to me has always smelled very angular and sharp in the opening) lemon/bergamot in VPH but they both share that same very distinct tonka/musk/amber combination in their dry downs to the point where I would bet people on the street wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two in a blind test.

I respect the guy's output over the years, but it's low-key outrageous how Alberto Morillas got away with copying 90% of Jacques Polge's homework when creating the Versace...

l'immaginemyslf

A timeless classic! Bought myself 50 ml today, 8-10 years since last owning it.

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

i finally gave in. I bought this today. i was torn between the eau extreme version and allure homme sport.

I chose Allure Homme Sport because it's fresher. Eau extreme's dry down is similar to Prada Black which i already have.

I love Chanel Allure Homme Sport!❤️

Fragrance_Nolan

When I first smelled a sample of AHS, it reminded me of a jolly-rancher and I was sold. I don't get the candy vibes any more but it's still pretty amazing. Fresh and clean citrus with some musk is the best way to describe it. I consider AHS the best freshie designer on the market and even better than all the blue fragrances, which can become annoying to wear after a certain point. If I were to keep 2 fragrances for life, it would be AHS for the day time and Eau Extreme for the night. AHS is an easy 10/10, I consider it a forever fragrance in my collection.

Sprnjak

This stuff is classic, one of my first fragrances and one of my favorites to this day. Such a GREAT scent profile.. I don’t think you can go wrong with this for any situation.

bdgarver

One of my oldest bottles since this has become a hobby. My batch is from 2012. I love everything about it besides the opening. It smells rough and synthetic with the aldehyde and sea note combo. After it dries it’s beautiful and creamy with the orange poking in from the top notes still. Really comes alive in 80 plus weather. The dry down is very similar to Allure ETA which I prefer to this all year besides summer. This one hasn't gotten much wear in the 15 years or so I have owned it because of my love of the OG. I have noticed I go nose blind to this scent more than others. My wife says she can smell even after a day at the office. So I would say total life about 8 hours with 2 1/2 or projection. Seems to be a crowd pleaser and I doubt anyone would be strongly against this scent or offended if you heavy sprayed. I also own Blanche EDP and can confirm Sport does last longer than Blanche. Great line that has survived decades and still smells up to date but for me the OG EDT is the best one IMO

7.5/10

47Ronin

This scent is quite easy to love.

The orange and neroli accords are the stars of the show for this scent to me.

I believe this and Bleu de Chanel are one of those swiss army knife of fragrances that just work. Easy to wear when in doubt, versatile for all seasons, works in whatever situation you will be going to and garners compliments fast.

The perfect gift for a man (or even a woman) and the one to kickstart your freshie journey.

Knock offs are longevity and sillage, but it's worth the money, just over spray more on your clothes.

I haven't tried the Eau Extreme version so I can't compare but I don't think I will have to.
9/10.

sic_transit_gloria_mundi

First of all, I am wearing an old batch and can safely say this Chanel entry can stay on the skin for the entire night. Yes, I mostly wore it during evening events to draw women's attention and it worked very well. Not my favorite frag, but you can occasionally use it to your advantage. It is very modern, which I no longer seek in perfumes, but the young crowd can bite this cookie, especially if it has been produced before the plandemic.

VenoV

The greatest manly fragrance of all time

Benzene2001

Citrusy opening, quite harsh but goes away quickly and throughout it has a rich subtle vanilla background that blends well with the top and middle notes, with hints of pepper and ginger. It sticks well to the skin for hours, good for its price.

Yodaz

My boss used to wear this fragrance, the fragrance fills the entire lobby before he even entered the building, I had the chance to try it, it's a powdery, creamy and citrusy scent that's very fresh, perfect for hot summer and warm spring days.

Brahmsfourth

I wore this years ago and it was lovely indeed: creamy, soapy rich and fresh.
It got complimented a lot too.
That said, it did not appeal to me 100%. It was neither here nor there as a truly luxurious scent or a vivid sporty cologne.
It has Chanel distinction without the qualities of a true classic.

Gamecocks1!

Love chanel and I hope this one never goes. Which I don't think it will be out for years for a reason. This one right here is just so well blended love it

ajm898

One of my favorite easy fragrances. A strong citrus opening before turning into a smooth vanilla creamsicle. In my opinion this has the Eau Extreme beat by a long shot (although I still love the EE), and is tied with Edition Blanche (which smells like a lemon version of this) for my favorite summer fragrance, although this can easily be worn year-round.

I find that the online consensus regarding poor longevity and performance of men's Chanel fragrances is an example of a falsehood being repeated so often people start to believe it. This fragrance consistently outperforms MANY niche fragrances I have tried, from Xerjoff to Nishane to Creed (obviously Creed, but still). This whole online narrative of designer being inferior to niche is pretty tiresome, and the discourse around longevity and sillage is no exception. Allure Homme Sport is no Mancera or clone from a Middle Eastern perfume house, but it still has beastly performance on my skin.

One of the greatest, and it’s Chanel’s best seller (behind Bleu) for a reason.

jaf_ua

Smells very nice, but just 15 min of citruses on my skin. Later only vanilla and amber, if you put your nose there. Zero performance.

Angelus Libri

A "Designer Blue Scent" but the the Platonic ideal. Fresh, citric, sweet and a dash of powder. It's round and polished, free of any synthetic rough edges(I'm looking at you Versace Pour Homme). Better even than Eau Extreme and Bleu.

Eau de GT

A strange but interesting scent that, when it was released, felt truly unique. It has a sharp synthetic smell, much like Eau Extreme has synthetic sweetness, but both in a good way. It starts fresh and sharply powdery, almost like play-dough in the opening. People call it mandarin, but they need to eat a real mandarin and smell it, this does not smell like mandarin. It’s more of an aldehydic freshness. It becomes moderately sweet in the base while staying slightly fresh and sharp.

A very fun, complex, and interesting scent to wear, as it starts like nothing you have smelled before and goes through a long transformation before settling into a warm vanilla and tonka bean base.

This is a great versatile scent that can be worn at the office, in school, on a date, or while hanging out. It will not offend anyone. It works all year, though not ideal for hot weather. A great gym fragrance for cooler days and the winter months.

This scent is over 20 years old and still feels relevant. Truly a timeless creation. Like Chanel always does, they create scents that set trends.

Millennials and younger generations like this scent. It gets the unspoken compliments, not the kind you hear, but the kind you observe. Nobody gets verbal compliments unless it is from family or by asking. And when you ask, they tend to lie. The stares, the body language. That is the true evidence of a fragrance that appeals to the opposite sex.

Vinyllad

Am I the only one who thinks that Chanel has recently reformulated the gorgeous scent? My previous one that I had bought two years ago was way more complex that the one I got the other day. What I loved the most was the rich orange/black pepper tone that evolved into soft/warm powdery aldehydes and tonka base- what a pleasant smell. The current one smells like a cheap flat orange scent with little projection. What a disappointment this turned out. Why would Chanel destroy something that was perfect in every aspect?

DaveTheBasha

Smooth natural smelling zing. Lasts a good time for a fresh one.

The opening burns my nose but the dry down is a high quality smelling sweet fresh.

NolParf

Havent heard anyone say this but it reminds me of a mix of versace eros edt and versace pour homme. Overall very good and much better than eros or pour homme

stevebayerin

This is more fun to wear in the warm weather than the og Chanel Allure Homme EDT.

I wear Allure Homme EDT when I want to be taken seriously and Allure Homme Sport when I want something light.

The candy citrus smell is very nice for me.

Neo_Tokyo

This is damn good 😮

JogaBonito

The first time I smelled this it did remind me of VPH, which I had 7 years ago. However, this is made with better ingredients. It doesn't ever go towards a synthetic feel that VPH can give you. Not unique, but my goodness it's pleasant to smell. Found my new forever gym scent, already getting compliments. I'm telling you right now this is better than 90% of these xerjoff and byredo posh fragrances. If "less is more" was a bottle. 9.5/10

Allure123

N1 Fragrance 🥇

dogfoods

Great fragrance, smells pretty fresh and uplifting, however I wouldnt go do sports with this and I dont think it is a "sports fragrance". It is similar to Eau Extreme, but that has more sweetness and tonka in it. Sure, maybe not the greatest performer, but it doesnt have to be, you dont need to overpower everyone, its just a nice scent to be around. I get around 8 hour longevity, skin scent after 2-3. On clothes it lasts a long time. I might have an old batch, as I see others complaining about longevity alot, but either way, its pretty good, blind buy safe for sure.

Pirzola

Teleports me to my childhood. Old fashioned and nostalgic for me.

foxnguyenb

As an introvert, I hardly feel the need to announce to everyone else, "Hey, I'm wearing a fragrance right now". I prefer to be discovered; accidentally would be the best scenario. CAHS does just that.

Soft, sporty from citrus, and somewhere you can smell a slight hint of the sea. Then it dries down to mostly tonka beans, powdery, I may add. Not truly a sport nor a sweet fragrance, a hybrid I suppose. Which makes it perfect to be a versatile fragrance to use in almost every occasion. Interesting approach from Channel.

Having smelled the Eau Extreme, I still prefer the "original Homme Sport". A balance between sweet and freshness. Performance is notoriously "bad" in today's standard: 2 hours of projection, then skin scent for about 4~6 hours. Which leaves 6~8 hours, depending on where and when you apply.

Apart from the price, a good blind buy. There are "clones" and ones that are inspired by CAHS. I tried the other ones occasionally but I have to say nothing beats the original one.

Chess53

In my opinion, the best one out of the whole Chanel sport line. I smelled this on my friend back when it first came out in 04' and asked him what it was and it's still good today. Unique and nothing like it, thats another reason why its awesome. An aquatic Marine note in this without it smelling like the Calone note or fishy sea like. A masterpiece.

Contrary to belief, this smells nothing and I mean nothing like Versace Pour Homme which I love as well. 2 different scents altogether. You can wear this one all year round . Versace Pour Homme is basically for spring /summer and gym I owned both and loved to revolve the 2.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport is a creamy Marine, Deep Orange, tonka bean aldehydic beautiful scent that stays all day on my skin. Universal all year and blind buy worthy. Dries down even better.

Scent: 9.8. This IS a unique scent and still is.

Sillage: 7

Longevity: 8 hrs on my skin and great on clothes.

cplively

With so many good fragrances in this line, it's quite a compliment to say this one is my overall favorite. I slept on it and the original Allure Homme for too long, but in all fairness, there isn't a bad fragrance in this line. AHS Eau Extreme gets more hype but, as far as the smell is concerned I like this one better. I enjoy it in the spring and summer, so much in fact I would call it a staple on my collection/wardrobe. It is easily one of the most complimented fragrances that I wear. It's smooth, refined, elegant...all the things I like about Chanel in a fragrance.

Jaybocna

Versatile, lasts 4 hours, projects ok, citrus with some vanilla. Not very sporty though

aizensozuke

Very oily and resinous smell, but it doesn't smell bad at all, however, when I overspray this I get a note of wet dogs, I'm probably not the single one

eisenfaust

First perfume, that started the journey.
Citrusic, marine and little sweet undertone. Gave me more compliments than every niche that I have.
Sadly lasts for 3 hours max (2 sprays on the neck).

Cyprian1902

This is a perfect casual scent. Very very bright orange off the top that lasts and faintly stays throughout the entire life of the fragrance. This dries down into a sweet musky creamy scent with hints of mandarin. Its tonka-musk base allows this to be comfortably worn during the night as a light relaxed scent as well. Not a typical ‘night out’ fragrance. You get sweet musky whiffs of it well into 6+ hours of wearing. Not a beast mode performer but it’s better off not being one.
This is probably not for the office, an interview, or formal event. This is nearing a casual luxury type of scope. Daytime wear on your days off, casual evenings, gym sessions.
9/10 I think the retail price for a 3.4 ounce bottle is a touch expensive but well worth it.

clintjr82

My least favorite from the allure line. It’s all Oranges and vanilla crème. For me, the best 1. Allure homme 2. Eau extreme 3. cologne sport 4. Edition Blanche . No thanks to this one

dexo91

Fresh, creamy citruses with touch of elegance. After finished my 100ml bottle, I conclude that i prefer Versace Pour Homme more than this. This frag is too expensive for low parameters.

divineintervation1994

Lemon cheescake at the beach. Iconic, sexy and delightful. That's all I will say.

LaitPerfumes

Oh, this scent—I just love it!

It’s fresh with a touch of sweetness, and it envelops you in a lovely, comforting way.

I would definitely have a bottle if the longevity and sillage were better.
Sadly, on my skin, it lasts only 1-3 hours—and the sillage is weak.

Avet137

Best everyday fragrance has that citrusy opening and Tonka Bean at the background much better that the eau extreme.

Fragrance_Nolan

Pretty underrated offering from Chanel and sometimes forgotten. I think Eau Extreme is hyped up on social media so more guys tend to go for that but AHS is just as good. This is a sharp citrus mostly but with some nuances to it like vanilla, cedar, pepper and even some tonka, it's a pretty complex fragrance. I consider this better-suited for the warm weather- spring and summer but I guess you could get away with this in the early fall too. I consider AHS a 10/10, an excellent freshie with character.

Clogne2025

Its a terrific fragrance to wear gym/sports/casual.

gatekeeper213

wore this today in about 50 degree weather. had a crazy sent trail. got 5 complements on this

O23Fragrance

Better version of Versace pour homme. A little sweeter than Versace but also fresher. Suitable for daily use and gym. Performance is ok. The smell is faintly felt on my skin for about 2-3 hours, then it becomes a skin scent.

Scent: 8/10
Performance: 6.5/10

Username12456

You just can’t beat this, it’s Chanel elegance and natural ingredients put to its best. Not super unique smelling nowadays but you gotta remember Chanel started the trend for these type of scents for men along with Bleu de Chanel back in the days. A masterpiece fragrance DNA that’s timeless

RDUK

Nice, but you wouldn't imagine it's Chanel as there's nothing special about it. Pleasant smell though!

stevebayerin

The mint in Eau Extreme seemed to get negative reactions from men while the women seemed to like EE. I feel that EE has a stronger and more prominent scent profile than Allure Homme Sport.

My decant of AHS doesn't seem to get negative reactions. I may buy a bottle when budget permits.

My nose isn't picking up the orange and neroli notes but I do smell something like citrus candy.

Piggy41510

Just tried this fragrance on my skin in 2025 and I'm aware I'm very late to the party. I thought that I wouldn't need this fragrance because of the similarities to Versace Pour Homme but after sampling AHS on my skin and judging for myself, I have to purchase AHS. Yes there are similarities but to my nose the Chanel is better quality so I don't mind having both fragrances. After I purchase this fragrance I will own the entire Allure Homme line of fragrances. It took me a while to buy them all because they are so expensive but I believe they're all worth the price tag. Building a collection is expensive when you don't get bottles for free!! I truly love all my fragrances that I own and paid for with my own money. 10/10 rating for me.

Rowenn

Chanel Allure Homme Sport opens with a sharp blast of citrus that quickly dries down into a smooth, creamy vanilla. The ingredients feel expertly blended and of higher quality than most other colognes I own—maybe because I paid full price for this one.

Easily my most complimented fragrance, striking a perfect balance between freshness and warmth. Only wish is the projection stays more consistent, starts strong with the citrus opening then falls off quick. Unfortunate because this scent is incredible.

Scent: 10/10
Performance 6/10

tvsz

In the past 10 years I’ve went through at least 5 big bottles of this fragrance. I’m a bit bored with it already, but this is one of the best “go anywhere, do anything” perfumes for men. Works best in warmer weather and day wear, but you can really rock this always. I’ve gotten many, many compliments on this one, and would say this is one of the rare safe blind buys, however the price is a bit steep.

monalisa01

easy to wear, versatile, safe for blind buy and smooth citrus vanilla fragrance, best for gym but its doesnt special or unique for me.

Maynard_James_Krawczyk

My favourite Chanel perfume. Orange mixed with vanilla gives that soft creaminess. Beautiful and delicate.

trixal0en

I have owned a bottle of Eau Extreme a couple of years ago and resampled it recently. Just recieved a 5ml tester of this one. Been wearing it for a while.

My initial thought is that I wish there was something in between this and EE. Where EE is 15% fresh with 85% creamy tonka, this is the other way around. I wish it would be meeting eachother more in the middle, but at the same time it works pretty well.

Edit: Now I'm wearing it the second time I'm getting a little bit more warmth from this.

All of the Allure Homme are leaning mostly towards one thing (Creamy lemon for Edition Blance, orange tonka creamyness for the Extreme, and airly fresh wilth slight cream for this one) with alot of complementing notes going on in the background in a more subtle way.

They sometimes feel a little bit boring to me, like I feel I want more. I can't wrap my finger around it, cause at the same time I can never stop smelling them and they are some of the most beautyfull scent's I have ever smelled.

Love it

FatherFigure

I don't get a ton of citrus but lots of creamy vanilla notes with spicy fresh finish . Projection starts off strong but fades quickly . I don't hate this but very disappointed overall

jamesjeff14

The smoothness of the blend in this is more than enough to send the Bleu de Chanel normies to cry town, and let’s not even mention the hype with Eau Extreme, which in my opinion would be the outcome of sending Le Male to a pamper party. In all seriousness however, if you’re looking for an outstanding piece of French craftsmanship, look no further. This is truly a memorable signature which will hopefully remain in my collection for a long time to come

10/10

Katakiuchi

This fragrance is good and I can't really pick anything major bad to say about it, a good fresh summer scent and/or gym scent for sure, perfect for casual outings too, mainly a citrus forward clean aquatic fragrance that morphs into a calm vanilla later in the dry down with remnants of citrus and spices still lingering, overall I'd give this a 7/10 since it's not my style but I'd love it if someone else wore it,I can respect what the perfumer was going for with this frag.

Eau De Texas

This was the only bottle I’ve been able to burn thru in under 2 yrs.

It’s almost annoying how perfect this is. It’s a fantastic value.

I’ll probably buy eau extreme to replace it for a 1 -2 punch of nostalgia and something somewhat new.

istvan.buda.779

It’s pleasant but I probably won’t rebuy. I heard reformulation killed the scent Still have a bottle from 2012

mikebardenpiano

Weirdly enough, there are some fragrances that are so perfectly good that I don't like to use them a lot. This is one of them. It is strong enough to be noticed, fruity and fresh, has good longevity, is truly versatile, so well balanced as to be considered a masterpiece. It's almost too easy, like fishing in a barrel as they say. Today I'm wearing it after a long time not, and already got a compliment. I really enjoy this.

That said, I cannot abide with Eau Extreme. The vanilla is cloyingly sweet to the point of being intolerable. I know a lot of people love it and know this is my own subjective experience.

But this one is amazing.

realbaz

if you like citrus, strong-smelling fragrances this is for you. perfect for spring to summer. longevity is great. good price too.

suwucc

Not sure why I love this so much despite calling bleu a basic fragrance. I think it has something to do with my favourite scents revolving around tobacco or aquatic/aromatic fragrances.

This never fails to get me compliments and despite all the criticisms of the longevity, it has never failed to get me through the day.
